I eat a lot of fruit. Every now and then my stomach will ask me to go easy on it for a few days and since I’m very in-tune with it, I always obey. That’s typically when I go on all-fruit meal routines for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks in between. One of my favorite go-to fruits is mango.
If I’m in the mood for a quick foodie fix, I simply cut up a few mangoes to make a fruit bowl. If I need a tasty snack I slice a few mangoes and top them off with chili powder and lemon. But, if I need something that will keep me fuller for a longer period of time, I always choose a mango smoothie.

- FOR SMOOTHIE:
- 2 large ripe mangoes
- 1 ½ cup almond milk
- Honey (to taste)
- 4 ice cubes
Wash, peel and chop mangoes into small pieces, discard stone. Transfer them to a blender jar. Add almond milk, honey (to taste or according to sweetness of mango) and ice-cubes. Blend until smooth and creamy and there are no mango chunks in it. Pour into tall glass and enjoy!
